Perimeter Security Fencing

Razor wire :
Razor wire is a mesh of metal strips with sharp edges whose purpose is to prevent passage by humans. Razor wire is much sharper than the standard barbed wire. The multiple blades of a razor wire fence are designed to inflict serious cuts on anyone attempting to climb through and therefore have a strong psychological deterrent effect. In many high-security applications, barbed wire, which could be circumvented quickly by humans without tools, while penetrating razor wire barriers without tools is very slow and difficult, giving security forces more time to respond.

Chain Link Fence :
A chain-link fence (also referred to as wire netting, wire-mesh fence, chain-wire fence, cyclone fence, hurricane fence, or diamond-mesh fence) is a type of woven fence usually made from galvanized or steel wire. The wires run vertically and are bent into a zig-zag pattern so that each "zig" hooks with the wire immediately on one side and each "zag" with the wire immediately on the other.

Infrared Beam Barrier

This infrared beam barrier is used to detect persons passing through doorways, corridors and small gates. The transmitter emits a beam of infrared light which is invisible to the human eye. The alarm is activated when the light beam is interrupted by a person passing through it.

Analogue CCTV Can record straight to a digital video recorder (DVR) which are able to record analogue signals as pictures. If the analogue signals are recorded to tape, then the tape must run at a very slow speed in order to operate continuously.

Glass Safety Film

Glass Safety Films are polyester films that are applied to glass and glazing in order to hold them together if the glass is shattered (similar to laminated glass). The main difference between film and laminated glass is that the film can be applied to the glass or glazing after manufacture or installation. These films are used widely all over the world, they can be found on trains, buses, cars and buildings.

Explosions cause widespread damage and in an urban environment (often containing lots of glass), the risk of injury is increased. In the event of an explosion in an urban area, flying glass is often the biggest cause of injury/trauma. However, certain specially designed films, when applied correctly, can contain these shards of glass, protecting the internal environment and in some cases retaining the pane of glass in the window frame.

A Safe Room or Panic Room is a fortified room which is installed in a private residence or business to provide a safe shelter, hiding place, for the inhabitants in the event of a terrorism attack, break-in, home invasion or other threat. Safe Rooms usually contain communications equipment, so that law enforcement authorities can be contacted.
