 Main projects undertaken by KSS: 1. Complete Refurbishment of four Pak Coastguard Boats including installation of new engines and electronic sensors. Four in number Coastguard Boats were complete overhauled by our team. The machinery was removed and overhauled. New engines were selected for installation onboard resulting n redesigning of engine foundation. To meet customers and platform requirement, modifications were undertaken including satisfactory Sea Acceptance Trails.  Installation of Electronic Equipment on Coastguards Boats New navigation, communication and underwater equipment were selected and installed on board. Integration of equipment was successfully undertaken followed by HATs and SATs.  FLIR (Night Vision Device) installed on MSA ships.  Functional Replacement of DG’s Safety Circuit – Missile Boats Functional replacement of safety circuits of DGs on board PNS SHUJAAT and JALALAT. To overcome the issue of obsolescence, the safety circuit was redesign, PLC’s were incorporated in the new circuit and requisite programming was undertaken. The newly developed safety circuit panel was installed onboard and test/trails were carried out satisfactorily.  Moulding of Cable – AGOSTA 70 Moulding of 48 core cable was done with metallic junction box. Subsequently, insulation, continuity and pressure tests were successfully conducted as per DCN stands.  Air Conditioning Unit – PNS MUNSIF Functional replacement of the control system of Chiller Plant fitted onboard PNS MUNSIF was done by KSS.  Manufacturing of Banking Oven – Jinnay Naval Base Ormara Kestral has designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a Banking Oven for electrical motors repairs / maintenance at Jinnah Naval Base, Ormara. (Maximum temperature 425 C). Kestral also provided training to PN personnel.  Fabrication of OLED-Pneumatic Mast Dismantling Trolley Two in number Trolleys have been designed (as per sample) and fabricated for PN Dockyard for dismantling of Submarine Oleo-pneumatic masts.  Fuming Cabinet – PN Dockyard Kestral has procured, installed and commissioned a Fuming Cabinet at PN Dockyard Laboratory. Kestral has also provided training to PN personnel.  Communication Tower – Pakistan Customs Kestral has designed, manufactured and installed 10 communication tower for Pakistan Customs with VHF link all along the coast of Pakistan.  Equipment installed in VHF link towers.  Generator Alarm Monitoring system - PNS KARSAZ Training Center Functional replacement of the obsolete system was done by KSS.  |
